My name is Sri Mataji Amenanda (Mataji), also known as Jenny Mutlu-Collins

In 2015, I had a rather decisive kundalini awakening.
It didn’t gently expand my awareness – it blew the doors off.

It’s a long story, but suffice to say, I was quite delinquent.

Some people buy a sports car as a midlife crisis. I became a tantra master.

I didn’t disappear into a cave.

I had a job, a family, and deadlines.

And a strong preference for not being sectioned.

So I learned to integrate – and quickly.

I now enjoy a consistent state called savikalpa samadhi, which for the uninitiated, is the one before ‘nirvana’ or nirvikalpa samadhi.

At the beginning of my awakening, I had no map, no useful parameters, and very little patience for vague spiritual instructions.

So I did what any sensible person would do –
I tested everything.

Every rule. Every teaching. Every “you must” and “you must never”.

Some of it held up.

A surprising amount did not.

I remain deeply grateful to the masters who guided me – with great patience, wisdom and grace, and who never minded my backchat or audacious determination to shake it to the max,

Mahavatar Babaji, master of tantra among them.

What changed for me?

I became more effective at most things in my life – including work and motherhood. And I wasn’t even that bad at it before…. My intuition improved, I suddenly had more friends than I knew what to do with. Opportunities arrived more quickly. I trained myself to quickly take the highest decision in any given moment and to have total confidence in it. Significantly, I embraced areas which I had previously avoided, such as performance and visibility, and I found I was rather good at them. I started to overtake the people around me.

I am a Reiki Master Teacher (Usui, Karuna Ki, Kundalini), a coach mentor, enlightened tantric yogini, poet, polymath, unapologetic spiritual swot, and a master of Lila manifestation, which means co-creation through divine play.

I am also a Cambridge graduate, a marketing leader in international education, mother of two beautiful daughters, and most recently, stand-up comic.

I speak six languages – three of them well!

I have always been attracted to innovation and creativity through blending, as well as a healthy dose of unrepentant spiritual mischief. Being an intuitive and a polymath makes me a natural tantric, as tantra literally means ‘weaving’. It is also the path of developing and following your conscious instinct.

Tantra mentoring, if you choose, is the place where you pick up all of your loose ends, develop new strands if needed, and weave them into something much more empowered, impactful and enjoyable.

“I am consciousness and bliss, I am Shiva”
